WALKABOUTSVERSE 226 OF 230

Poem 226 of 230:  OH, PLEASE RENATIONALISE

Less able to move workers
    To the site of a harsh storm,
Far too-lengthy power-cuts,
    Now companies are the norm;
Old (paid) bills sent to new homes;
    Forgotten prepay-meters
Cutting out, in dead of night,
    The alarm and the heaters;
The waiting, plus the phone calls,
    For the old and new supplies:
I say to the Government -
    “Oh, please renationalise.”
